IN-VOGUE Living has just unveiled its plans for this year's Metropolitan Telethon Home and, by all accounts, it looks set to be a stunner.

JWH Group managing director Julian Walter hopes it will help raise $1 million for Telethon this year.

"Our goal this year, and every year, is to hand over a cheque for $1 million on behalf of the JWH Group, our suppliers and friends in land development to help Telethon improve child health and research in WA," he says. "This year the money raised will stem from the auctions of homes in the Provence development near Busselton, the Trek Home in Geraldton and the Metropolitan Telethon Home at Ellenbrook."

The magnificent two-storey home, on a 1052sqm country-style site in Charlott'e Vineyard, Ellenbrook, has been designed with families in mind. There will be four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a home theatre, games room, alfresco area and swimming pool.

The home theatre is a popular feature in most of In-Vogue's two-storey houses. This one will be conveniently located near the family/meals area and feature the latest Clipsal C-Bus electrical and home-automation products.

The informal family living area at the rear will over-look a huge 48sqm alfresco area and pool. The living rooms will showcase Boral's new polished concrete floor, which is also used in an aggregate form in the alfresco. Boral Windows has donated its new alfresco stacker doors which, once opened, will allow the alfresco and main living area to merge seamlessly.

Monier Cambridge shingle roof tiles will cap off the ultra-modern design.

"Having been involved with five previous Telethon Metropolitan Homes it's fantastic to once again be part of such a great cause," In-Vogue general manager Jim Ilias says.

"It's refreshing to see that even in such a busy market place suppliers, trades, staff and, of course, The Ellenbrook Joint Venture, jumped at the chance to help WA's sick children through Telethon."

Ellenbrook is on the doorstep of the Swan Valley and just 30 minutes from Perth. It boasts recreational facilities, including parks, open spaces, walking/cycling paths, playgrounds, sports courts, a library, an amphitheatre and a community centre in each village. Four schools (including one high school) service the five villages that have been developed to date. There's also a variety of businesses, shops and services.
